# Welcome to Orange Network

The Orange Network is a state-of-the-art open-source platform that leverages Avalanche's subnet architecture and Snow consensus mechanism. Orange Network is supported by a dual-token system designed to maximize network efficiency and bolster security. High-volume transactions have become a limitation on other blockchains and for the metaverse and web3 to reach mass adoption a cheaper and faster alternative is needed. This model ensures that the ecosystem not only thrives in terms of performance but also remains secure and user centric.
